A cloudburst in the Kedarghati region of Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand, has caused extensive devastation, with several houses and vehicles buried under debris, according to reports by NDTV.

A cloudburst in Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag district has buried houses and vehicles under debris; Gaurikund pedestrian route disrupted due to landslide.
Rescue operations are currently underway, with relief teams deployed at the site to assist affected residents.
Heavy rainfall continues to lash various parts of the state. In Gaurikund, a landslide has severely disrupted the pedestrian route, as reported by Punjab Kesari.
In a separate development, Chamoli district witnessed multiple rain-related incidents. A Panchayat official lost his life, and four others were injured after rocks dislodged by heavy rains struck their vehicles.
Sirwadi village in Rudraprayag, previously impacted by a cloudburst in 2020, had also seen widespread damage to homes and roads.
