Botswana women have defeated Mozambique women by eight wickets in the ICC Womens T20 World Cup Africa Division 2 Qualifier at the Botswana Cricket Association Oval 1 in Gaborone on Monday, July 21.

Batting first, Mozambique women could only muster 53/9 in 20 overs, with some tidy bowling effort from the Botswana players. Goabilwe Matome 4/8 and Pako Mapotsane 4/6 were the pick of the bowlers as Botswana restricted their opponents to a paltry total.

In reply, Botswana batters reached the total in 7.3 overs with Matome again playing a starring role with the bat.
