IND-W Vs ENG-W, 1st ODI: Deepti Sharma's Valiant Knock Steers India Women To Victory
The Indian women’s team took a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series against England after beating the host by four wickets in the first match on Wednesday at The Ageas Bowl stadium in Southampton. Deepti Sharma scored an unbeaten half-century as she was well-supported by Jemimah Rodrigues and Amanjot Kaur, as India chased down 259 with 10 balls to spare. Earlier, the returning English skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt won the toss and opted to bat against India women
