With the century, the Indian skipper equaled the legendary Mithali Raj for the second-most WODI centuries by an Indian woman. Both now share the joint-second spot with seven hundreds, behind only Smriti Mandhana, who leads the charts with 11.

Harmanpreet’s hundred was not her only milestone of the day. Earlier in the innings, she became just the third Indian woman to surpass 4,000 runs in ODIs, reaching the landmark with her 33rd run.
