India Under-19 will aim to seal the five-match youth ODI series against England Under-19, as they take on the hosts in the fourth ODI match at New Road, Worcester, on Saturday, 5 July 2025. The visitors currently have a 2-1 lead in the India U19 vs England U19 series after sealing a four-wicket win on Wednesday, and can seal the series with one match left to play.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was at his best during the third youth ODI match at Northampton, scoring 86 runs off 31 balls in a jaw-dropping innings to lead India to a comprehensive victory in a run-curtailed match. The 14-year-old southpaw batter hit nine sixes and six fours and brought up a fifty in just 20 balls.

Suryavanshi partnered up with Vihaan Malhotra (46 off 34), and the pair ensured that India crossed the line with five overs to spare. Suryavanshi and Malhotra are currently the second and third-highest scorers in the series, with 179 and 113 runs in three games, respectively.

However, the leading batter in the series continues to be England’s wicketkeeper Thomas Rew. The 17-year-old has scored 212 runs in three matches, including a century in the second ODI and an unbeaten 76 off 44 in the last game.

Kanishk Chouhan and RS Ambrish, who were superb during the middle-order batting against England during the last outing, have been the best bowlers for the visitors, leading the wicket-taking charts with a combined record of 13 wickets to their name.

With just two games left and England trailing, the fourth ODI will be crucial. A win for India means a series victory for the visitors with one game left to play, while an English win will take the series to the final ODI match on 7 July.
