India Vs England 1st Test Day 3: Visitors Take 96-Run Lead Before Rain Forces Early Stumps
Indian seamers managed to restrict England to 465 runs and get a six-run lead in the first innings, thanks to Jasprit Bumrah's record fifer. Mohammed Sira and Prasidh Krishan also get crucial wickets. Harry Brook played a 99-run knock, whereas Chris Woakes and Jamie Smith played important cameos. India lost the wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal early. KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan added 66 runs for the second wicket, but Sudharsan lost his wicket after making 30 off 48 balls. Shubman Gill and Rahul were at the crease when the umpires called for early stumps due to rain. India have a lead of 96 runs in the second innings.
