India vs England 2nd Test Day 3 is currently underway at the Edgbaston and the hosts are throwing a counter-punch after two quick wickets early in the day. Harry Brook and Jamie Smith are delivering a spectacular counter attack even as India remain a massive 338 runs ahead at Lunch on the third day.

Check out the latest on-field and off-field developments around the India's tour of England for July 4.

Brook, Smith counter attack

Brook and Smith have stitched a 165-run partnership at Lunch on day 3 and the duo has taken just 154 balls for it. Jamie Smith has smashed an 80-ball century while Brook remains just nine runs behind a ton. The duo has rescued England from 84/5 early in the day but India still lead by 338 runs.

Siraj delivers early

Mohammed Siraj got the dangerous duo of Joe Root and Ben Stokes out on back-to-back balls to tilt the game in India's favour early in the day. While Root got strangled down the leg side, Stokes was welcomed with an unplayable ball that rose oddly from a good length and took the batter's glove on way to the wicket-keeper.

Krishna expensive again

Jamie Smith belted Prasidh Krishna for 23 runs in an over and the lanky pacer proved to be expensive once again. Krishna conceded above run-a-ball in both the innings of the first Test and even in the second game he has not been accurate. He conceded 61 runs off his first eight overs without taking a wicket.

Cute collision

Pictures of Joe Root and Zak Crawley colliding while diving to save a boundary are all over the Internent with users calling it a 'cute collision'.

Future watches present

The second day of the Test was witnessed by the members of the India U-19 side which is in England for a tour. IPL stars like Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre were seen in the stands.
