Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Sadineni Yamini Sarma on Tuesday expressed her gratitude to the party’s national and state leadership for appointing her as a member of the BJP National Council, calling it a recognition of her service to the party.
“I also express my gratitude to the national and State party leadership for recognising my services to the party and appointing me as a member of the BJP National Council,” she said, reported Hindustan Times.
She also welcomed the appointment of PVN Madhav as the new State president, stating that the move had brought great happiness and renewed enthusiasm among party workers.
Alongside Sarma, several other leaders were inducted into the National Council, including MPs D. Purandeswari and C.M. Ramesh, MLAs P. Vishnu Kumar Raju and Parthasarathi, 20-point programme chairman Lanka Dinakar, and senior leaders G.V.L. Narasimha Rao and Vishnu Vardhan Reddy.
