Eleven and her gang are all set for the most dangerous battle against Vecna, who has returned to Hawkins with a vengeance.
Max is still in a coma, and we are still unsure about her fate, as she came close to death in Season 4. Lucas turns emotional as he visits her in hospital.
Jonathan Byers' voiceover says, "After what we’ve been through, this thing, it ties us together forever."
The fifth season is set in the fall of 1987, and the government has placed entire town of Hawkins under military quarantine and they are on a hunt for Eleven, and she is back to hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, a familiar dread also approaches. The heroes of Hawkins are united and there's only one goal: to find and kill Vecna. Going by the teaser, we get a hint that the final chapter will be more powerful, shocking and more deadly.

Netflix reveals that the upcoming episodes of Season 5 of Stranger Things will have more information about the mysterious Upside Down. In Season 1, the creators Matt and Ross Duffer wrote a 25-page document that was about the mythology of the cryptic alternate dimension.
"The last remaining questions that are answered in that document, we’ve punted a couple of those to have some big reveals in Season 5," Ross Duffer said earlier. "And that’s really going to affect what Season 5 is about."
Stranger Things 5 release date
The Stranger Things final season will be released in three parts: Volume 1 drops on November 26, followed by Volume 2 on December 25, and the finale will be out on December 31, 2025.
