The Indian Embassy in Thailand on Friday issued an advisory urging Indian nationals to stay vigilant and avoid travel to certain areas amid escalating violence along the Thailand-Cambodia border. The advisory follows a sharp intensification of armed clashes in long-disputed areas, where tensions have been simmering for months.

“In view of the situation near the Thailand-Cambodia border, all Indian travellers to Thailand are advised to check updates from Thai official sources, including the TAT 타이산카지노room,” the embassy said in a statement.

More than 20 places in several provinces, including Ubon Ratchathani, Surin, Sisaket, Buriram, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi, and Trat, have been closed to tourists by Thai officials.

Thailand's acting prime minister, Phumtham Wechayachai, issued a severe warning, telling reporters that the situation had gotten much worse.

According to India Today, "The current situation involves acts of intrusion and aggression that are causing harm to the people's lives. The situation has intensified and could escalate into a state of war. At present, it's a confrontation involving heavy weapons," the Prime Minister said.

In Bangkok, Public Health Minister Somsak Thepsuthin confirmed 14 deaths, including 13 civilians and one soldier, along with 46 injuries.

The Economic Times reports that he condemned what he described as Cambodian attacks on civilians and a hospital: "We urge the Cambodian government to immediately halt these war criminal actions, and return to respecting the principles of peaceful coexistence."

The Thai army claimed Cambodian forces used heavy artillery and Russian-made BM-21 rocket launchers, prompting what it described as “appropriate supporting fire” in retaliation. The Thai army confirmed that they had deployed F-16 jets on Thursday.

This latest flare-up came just hours after both nations downgraded diplomatic ties in the wake of a landmine explosion that injured Thai troops.
