Mohit Suri's has made a comeback to theatres after three years, with his romantic drama Saiyaara, which released on July 18. The Yash Raj Films-backed film stars debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in lead roles. The film marks Mohit's return to the romantic genre after Awarapan, Aashiqui 2, and Ek Villain. Saiyaara has created an immense pre-release buzz. The advance booking numbers indicates that it will have a thunderous opening at the box office.

Fans have flocked to theatres on Friday to watch the first-day-first-show of Saiyaara. They have shared their reviews on X (formerly known as Twitter), lauding Ahaan and Aneet's performance. Saiyaara box office prediction

As per a report in Sacnilk, the final advance booking collections for opening day of Saiyaara was Rs 9.39 crore, with 3.8 lakh tickets being sold just in pre-sales alone. Mohit Suri directorial is expected to earn Rs 20+ crore at the box office on day 1.

With its advance bookings collections, Saiyaara has beaten big-budget films like Akshay Kumar's Sky Force which had advance booking sales of Rs 3.78 crore, Kesari Chapter 2 (Rs 1.84 crore), Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 (Rs 6.52 crore), and Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par (Rs 3.32 crore).

Saiyaara story

Ahaan Panday plays Krish Kapoor, a rising musician, who falls in love with Vaani (Padda), a songwriter. They are head over heels in love with each other, and soon their romance takes a complicated turn. Saiyaara is a story of love, sacrifice, heartbreaks, pain and longing.
