Aamir Khan has made a comeback to the big screen with Sitaare Zameen Par after a gap of three years since his 2022 film, Laal Singh Chaddha. Sitaare Zameen Par, which is the remake of the 2016 Spanish film, Champions, has been one of the much-anticipated movies of the year. The sports comedy drama has created positive buzz and what makes it special is the subject of the film. Aamir plays a basketball coach who has been assigned to train Neurodivergent adults for a community service program. The early reviews of the film are out on X, and it has received mixed reviews, mostly positive.

About Sitaare Zameen Par
Aamir Khan plays a famous basketball coach, Gulshan, who is rude and aggressive and gets into trouble for driving in a drunk state. He is even imposed a fine of Rs 5000. After breaking the law, Gulshan is ordered by the court to mentor a team of “intellectually disabled” people for a basketball tournament. Genelia Deshmukh plays his love interest in the film.
Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Sitaare Zameen Par introduces 10 debut actors: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.
It is a spiritual sequel to the 2007 hit film Taare Zameen Par.
The film is directed by by RS Prasanna, with screenplay by Divy Nidhi Sharma. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has composed the music for the film with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
