Austrian GP: Lando Norris Edges Out Oscar Piastri To Win In McLaren's 1-2

Lando Norris won the Formula 1 2025 Austrian Grand Prix race on Sunday after a thrilling battle with McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri, who challenged him early but couldn’t complete a pass, securing P2 in Papaya's 1-2 victory at the Red Bull Ring. Charles Leclerc took third for Ferrari, with Lewis Hamilton in fourth as he missed his first podium of the season yet again. The four-time world champion Max Verstappen retired on the first lap after contact with Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli at the home race of team Red Bull. With this result, Piastri leads the championship by 15 points over Norris, while Verstappen slips further behind. The next race is in Britain on July 6.
