Much like the men's team, the Indian women's hockey side is struggling to find rhythm and consistency. Deepika was the lone scorer for India, converting a penalty corner in the 30th minute.
For Argentina, Victoria Falasco opened the scoring in the 29th minute, before Agustina Gorzelany sealed the win with a hat-trick scoring in the 40th (penalty stroke), 54th, and 59th minutes.
