India Test captain Shubman Gill scored yet another hundred in the traditional format during the ongoing India Vs England Test match in Manchester on Day 5 and joined an elite list which includes Don Bradman and Sunil Gavaskar.
The 25-year-old Gill hit his fourth Test century of the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy series on Sunday and became the third player to hit four tons in a Test series as captain. Sir Don Bradman did the same in 1947/48 against India at home, and Gavaskar achieved the feat against the West Indies in 1978/79 at home. He is the first captain to do the same in an away series.
